instead of crashed ship maps.. why not have ship maps and station maps with there own objectives.. stealing blueprints or equipment... damaging equipment to slow down or stop some item or product from station production. interfer with capital ship...

I have concerns with this... remember we are talking about the PS3 system.. for fighters to be better than just a flying heli a VTOL ( vertical take off and landing craft with hover..) we will require large maps.. Look at battlefield 3 size maps ...
